EXPERIENCE
David has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Social Service from the Bryn Mawr School of Social Work and Social Research. He has been working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois since 1988 and has extensive experience in HIV/AIDS, substance abuse and related conditions. As a private therapist, he has developed a unique style of reaching clients and helping them navigate individual changes in life due age and development, income, illness and the discomforts that often come in relationship to families, partners and colleagues.
FROM MY PERSPECTIVE
As a gay male therapist, I offer a unique perspective on identity and relationships that is often comforting to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and heterosexual clients. I have traveled extensively, have studied the history of the world and have been involved in efforts of positive social change for more than 40 years.
